Few days ago, during the exhibition GDC 2016, Sony presented its novelties for this spring. It was undoubtedly a presentation with some curiosities about what is already on the market and what is about to arrive. So, let’s get to know what the brand brings us?
To gain more clients on the market, Sony introduced the novelties that we already can find on the market and those which will be available soon.
TV
As for TV market, the new Bravia 4K excels in image quality. This is a line with Slim Backlight Drive technology, combined with the X-tended Dynamic Range PRO technology that will make viewing videos much pleasant and balanced. Photography
Photography is one of the points that Sony wants to register in its resume more visibly. So, they presented the new Sony Alpha 6300 as well as some new lenses. The new Alpha stands out with 425 auto focus points spread across the image that is being captured. The 6300 has 24.2 Mega-pixels camera and is able to record 4k videos as well as capture the 11 frames per second. Gaming
During the exhibition GDC 2016, which currently runs in San Francisco, Sony has announced details of the release of its virtual reality helmet PlayStation VR, previously known under the code name Project Morpheus.
Sony PlayStation VR will be available for sale in October 2016. Retail price for it will be $ 399 in USA and 399 euros in Europe. The helmet is designed to work in tandem with the game console Sony PlayStation 4. The final version of the Sony PlayStation VR has received the OLED 5,7-inch-screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, that is, 960 x 1080 pixels for each eye, a refresh rate of 120 Hz and an angle of view approximately 100 degrees. There is also an accelerometer and a gyroscope, HDMI and USB ports. It is powered by the console. DualShock 4 or Move controllers are supported.
Sony expects to yield about 50 games around the same time with the launch of PlayStation VR.
