Altwork Station – computer desk that allows you to work while sitting, standing or laying

Recently American engineers from Altwork startup presented a unique computer desk. Unlike traditional desks, the one developed by engineers allows user to work not only while sitting or standing, but even laying.

The construction, that was called Station, consist of a comfortable chair, a table and a tripod for your computer. Each element of the desktop is capable to change position so that the user is able to work in any position, without experiencing any discomfort. At the station you can sit or you can press the button and change the position to horizontal. In this position, the chair unfolds and the table with a tripod will be placed over the laying user (keyboard and mouse on the table will be held by powerful magnets). Also you can raise a tripod to the desired height to be able to work while standing.

Without excessive modesty the Station creators claim that their new product is the first in one hundred years a large-scale modernization of the workplace. Journalists who have tried the universal desktop have also confirmed the convenience and benefit of the development of Altwork.

Currently, Station can be ordered for $3,900, but once the novelty will be on the market, its price will increase to $5,900 dollars. Quite a high price tag is due to the used in the process of creation high-quality and expensive materials.
