Intel showed Skylake – new chips for MacBook Pro

Intel revealed a new price list for the new line of chips Skylake, which are likely to appear in the new 15-inch MacBook Pro.

The price list includes three quad-core chipsets – 2.6 GHz Core i7-6770HQ, the 2,7 GHz Core i7-6870HQ and the 2.8 GHz Core i7-6970HQ. The current generation of MacBook Pro uses the default processor with a frequency of 2.2 and 2.5 GHz, with the possibility of custom installation of 2.8 GHz.

Last year, the updated line of Intel chipsets appeared on the MacBook 13-inch, so it is likely that this year, Apple will make an upgrade too.

New MacBook Pro can be presented in the near spring event, which is forecast to present a 4-inch iPhone 5SE. However, there are rumors that we will have to wait 15-inch version of MacBook Pro until May. Remind that similar happened last year.
