How to fix Safari bug on iOS and Mac
Today was announced a new bug found in Safari on iOS and Mac. The issue happens when you tap on the browser’s address bar and it immediately throws you from the application.
It is yet to be discovered how this bug appeared and what is behind it. Additionally, it happens not to all iOS and Mac users. If you are one of those who have this annoying bug, I will tell you how to fix it.
How to fix Safari bug
One of the options to fix this problem is to disable the application. To do this go to the Settings on your device and select Safari. Now disable Safari Suggestions. (See the image below)
Another way to fix this bug is to enter the Private browsing mode. In the Private mode your Safari doesn’t contact with redundant servers and the bug will not appear.
Reminding that the error affected many users, but not all. In many ways, it depends on the state of the cache of your Safari, or rather how much it is full. The error, by the way, was also seen on iOS 8, iOS 9 and OS X 10.11.
Also, this bug is not related to the notorious website Crash Safari, which was created by 22 years old computer programmer from San Francisco, Matthew Bryant. Visiting that site leads to a malfunction of the device with an iOS.
