Apple started to reduce new iPhones orders

In recent years Apple has beaten the iPhone sales records. A problem which sometimes affects the worldwide distribution of this equipment is its manufacture, on the release date the production capacity is not enough to supply all markets.

However, there is a curious fact in this situation. While not new, this scenario can be seen as a volte-face. Apple, according to several sources, is reducing their orders for new iPhones, which could mean a slowdown in sales.

There are now several sources that give for granted the reduction in the production of components for the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus. These suppliers are decreasing their production after clear orders from the Cupertino company. Also, as was mention, it is not a new situation and it has been happening for a number of months. For the first 3 months of 2016, it is estimated that the decrease will reach 30%. Although any of these rumors are not confirmed yet, the market reacted to this news and the shares of Apple fell again in recent days.

Facts that can confirm this situation

Although Apple refuses to comment on this information, there are facts that can confirm this scenario. Several factories where the iPhone is produced are giving vacation to their employees, which is not normal at this time of the year.

Other evidence is the assignment, by the Zhengzhou chamber, locality where is located one of the Foxconn factories, a $12 million dollars to the Chinese company to control and maintain labor force.

What could be the reason of reduction?

As always, speculation around these rumors raises doubts about the sales of the new iPhone and the provision of Apple in the market. However, the truth is that there are other factors that can cause this. The initial excess production may could originate that stocks accumulation.

There is another possibility supported by recent information. May be related to the arrival of a new iPhone 6C or iPhone 7C, which would lead to changes in production of current models.
