Majority of photographers on Flickr use iPhone

The growth of the mobile devices segment has also increased the amount of shared content in particularly photographic. Few days ago the popular photo-sharing service released a set of statistics that shows, unsurprisingly, that most of users of this service have iPhone device.

Flickr recently released statistics of their service in 2015 that reveal the most popular cameras brands. According to the data, most of the photos available on Flickr were taken with an iPhone 6, which represents 5% of all photographers who use the website. The second position is occupied by the iPhone 5S and the third by iPhone 5 with 4.9 and 4.2% respectively. Apple dominates to the sixth position and only on 11th position appears a device with Android, the Samsung Galaxy S4.

Only at the end of the list appears Nikon D3100 with only 1% of users.

These are without doubt curious data that reveal the importance of photography in the segment of mobile devices. Today, most of the smartphones are already equipped with good resolution cameras and an integrated set of innovative technologies. However, once again we can see that the iPhone’s camera is the best choice from mobile devices segment.
