iPads will get 3D Touch only after the release of the iPhone 7
3D Touch technology was firstly introduced in the current generation of the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, and it is a technology that uses the weight sensors embedded in the screen to distinguish between different types of pressure made by user’s finger.
According to Appleinsider, the Apple Company still could not expand the technology of 3D Touch so that it can adapt to larger screens. This means that the next iPad Air 3, which launch we are expecting in the first half of the 2016, most probably will not be equipped with the screen that can recognize different pressures.
3D Touch technology will be certainty present in the new iPhone 7, which will be presented in the September 2016. It is possible that this technology will be included in the next generation of the iPad and iPad Mini Pro models.
